To provide a faster, more efficient way to service nursing home facilities and their patients using the PDX Pharmacy System, we offer the PDX Nursing Home System module. This system—completely integrated with the PDX Pharmacy System—allows you to easily maintain data, generate medical administration records (MARs), physicians orders (POs), orders listings (OLs), and dispense prescriptions to nursing homes with integrated functionality to the Pharmacy system.

Multiple Filling Methods
You can easily implement the prescription method that best fits the needs of each nursing home you service and at the same time, pass each prescription through the standard OBRA/DUR checks when you initially fill it.
- Nursing home prescriptions can be filled using the standard retail prescription filling method, allowing for all prescriptions to be filled from the same screen.
- You can use the batch filling method when you fill nursing home prescriptions using a specific days' supply or a fill cycle, especially with medications for chronic conditions.
- You can also use the unit dose method when you need to fill nursing home prescriptions multiple times within a billing period and then, at the end of that billing period, bill the complete prescription.
Depending on the method you use, you can use the PDX Nursing Home System to process batch fill or unit dose prescriptions, run labels, and generate MARs, POs, OLs, and various other reports.
Convenient File Management
You can use either the PDX Pharmacy System or the PDX Nursing Home
System to enter or update both patient and facility records, hours
of administration codes (HOAs), medical diagnoses, and physicians'
orders.

PO, and OL formats to fit everyone's different needs. If you need
